Congratulations on the new job. I've been praying for you.  You've got quite the reputation to live up to. Hope. Change. Fairness. Balance. Restoration. Wish I could say, "Don't get sucked into the politics of it all."  Good luck with all that.

Dear Abbey,
You're the bestest BFF evah! I wish I could come visit you in Houston. But really? That wouldn't be such a good idea - cuz all I'd wanna do is sit around and chit chat with you and maybe play a little AC, which somehow immediately turns into a LOT of AC and I wouldn't get anything done. So maybe it's good that we have our distance, ya know. But, I miss you and Pete like crazy. Give the pets lovin for me, yes - even the cats GAH.

Dear Old Man Winter,
My mom used to tell me, "poo or get off the pot." ...Well, her language was a bit more colorful than that.  But, I'm ready for some pretty snow or even some (light, no damage please) ice.  But, this frigid air with nothing to show for it? BOO. It gives me spring fever.  Winter, you and I have had a love/hate relationship for a very long time...  the love part is fading fast. Show some results, or be gone with you!
